APC offers experienced, reliable and responsible pet care for Gold Coast professionals – only non-aggressive dogs and puppies are admitted. The exclusive membership standards ensure the health of all the dogs in the program.
Membership Requirements
An introductory visit is scheduled at your home to meet your dog and evaluate his or her social skills. Information is collected regarding health, diet and home procedures. No aggressive dogs are accepted to ensure the safety and protection of the entire playgroup.
Dogs must have current vaccinations in accordance with Chicago Dog Park guidelines in order to join the club. The guidelines are as follows:
Fitness and Age
- Must be in good health
- Must be spayed /neutered by 6 months of age
- Must be at least 12 weeks of age
Medical Requirements
- Rabies
- Canine Distemper
- Parvovirus
- Para-influenza
- Hepatitis
- Leptospirosis
- Bordatella or “kennel cough” updated every 6 months
- Accepted form of flea/tick medication
